So this is me and my boys. I’m a mumma, a wife and a small business owner. I currently live in Perth WA but grew up near the NSW coastal town of Newcastle, or more affectionately known as Newy. My cotton reverie journey began when I completed a business degree in 2010. I always knew I wanted to be self employed and work from home so I could be a hands on mumma. Admittedly, it took a while to realise that my passion for design and creating was more than a hobby but the missing piece of the puzzle. However, after my second son was born, I realised I could no longer spend the time I needed to create products, without putting too much stress on my little family. My little business came to a crossroads. Over the years of being a mum, I realised my passions had shifted to health and happiness. I spent hours upon hours looking for products that were non-toxic or organic, eco friendly, sustainable and ethical, yet still incredibly beautiful. A trip to Denmark drove this passion further.
I’ve come to realise that mistakes you think you may of made in your career and in life in general are never mistakes, as each are lessons and pieces of a puzzle that guide you to where you are today. I’ve been fortunate that enough pieces have come together to give me the opportunity to realise my dream, my reverie.
